Bewitched, Bothered, Bewildered

As befits a Bank Holiday, the weather is quite frankly stunning out there, though thankfully not so warm that you’re sweltering. I’m sat here listening to Maroon 5 and putting together a small list of alterations for my airsoft kit.

I’ve found myself combat trousers which blend better with undergrowth, and aptly a deep brown belt which is also fairly tough and hard wearing…perfect for holding my holsters in place. What’s needed is a replacement jacket/top, which means camo with plenty of pockets. The black on black look wasn’t working how I hoped it would.

Elsewhere, the first lot of photos of Friday night’s fun and frolicks are up. A review of TripleB once accused me of being your average inane student, obsessed with getting drunk. These photos will do nothing to destroy that image, but are worth looking at for the look on my face while I try and decode the intricate ‘Shots left’ dial on my disposable camera. Speaking of, the second lot of photos, taken from said camera, will be available when I’ve taken them in to get developed.

The Swansea Vintage Car and Family Fun Day takes place tomorrow in Singleton Park…that’s the park which runs behind and alongside the University for those who don’t know the city that well. Hopefully photos of the event should be going up later this week, as I intend to get hold of a camera and get some shots of those cars. Last year I managed to get a Pink Cadillac, a lot of my Father’s list of former vehicles, and one of the rarest finds, what I believe to be Swansea’s only Corvette.

Back to airsoft, now only 7 days left until the next event, this time taking place down at Wiltshire War Zone, just past junction 17 on the M4. If you take a look at the site, you’ll see why I’m thinking of getting hold of more camo :;):

For those who have stuck with me to this point…yes, I’m rambling I’m having a fun day and can’t seem to kick my brain out of ‘hazy days of summer’ mode :beam:
