Following on from my post on the eternal blogger conundrum and my subsequent restoration of the archives from 2003 and 2004, I chose to take another step towards ’selling’ TripleB a little more. Now I’ve never been one for pushing my little corner of the blogosphere out there…there was the odd webring, there’s my listings on Google and there’s my LiveJournal mirror. Beyond that though I have been wary of putting myself out there too much for fear of the kind of people it would drag here. As much as I envy the other blogs I follow whose comments link always seems to have large numbers attached (such as Snazzykat, Chris Pirillo and Big Pink Cookie) and wish I could inspire that depth of discussion (as I actually once did) I also don’t have the faith in my own writing that a lot of other people over the years have and some of my negative experiences early on in TripleB’s life have left me cautious. Granted there has been no reason for this caution in the last umpteen years yet I do still worry.
So in what must be a leap of faith then I submitted myself to BritBlog - The Directory of British Blogs. It is an impressive list of British blogs not to mention Welsh blogs…once mine has been authorised I will apparently be joining 4 other Swansea based blogs…who would have thought it. Now I feel the urge to go off in search of other blogrings and other such community devices in a bid to rejoin the blogging community a bit more
