A meme taken from Tuesday Twosome.
1. Do you check your email once a day or more? Explain:
I do indeed, though usually it’s just a case of leaving Thunderbird ticking away in the background to remind me if I get anything important. I rarely ever do however but I still check regularly.
2. When you receive SPAM emails, do you just delete them or take the time to mark it as SPAM? Explain:
I take the time to mark them as spam in the vain hopes that the intelligent spam detector will learn from this. So far it appears to be working, until a new method of spam crops up.
3. When a friend/acquaintance emails you a “forward” email like a joke or chain letter, do you forward it to your friends or just delete it? Explain:
I tend not to forward them on as I know many people hate these things…I feel bad for doing that but at least I take the time out to read them.
4. Who are two people whose emails you look forward to receiving? Explain:
I love emails from Sian, in the early days before our relationship this was our main method of getting to know each other. Who else? Well I’d have to say my old mate from uni, Clare. We don’t actually keep in touch any other way but every few months we drop each other an email to see how life is.
5. Do you believe that email has completely replaced other forms of communication?
Definitely not. For one thing, I know pretty much the majority of my friends communicate with each other via text messaging, the rest through actual phone calls.
